Wimbledon area and look for signs for Car Park 5. For
traffic information call the AA Roadwatch on 09003 401
100 or 401 100 from a Vodafone mobile telephone.
Underground / Subway
You will be provided with an all day Travelcard
for the Underground, which is the Subway system in London.
Take the nearest Underground station to Southfields at
Wimbledon (on the District Line - green line found on
the London Underground maps), where a Shuttle bus will
take you to The Championship Club (a 10 minute walk).
British Rail
Trains leave Waterloo at least every 10 minutes to Wimbledon,
with the main train journey taking approximately 12 minutes.
There are buses and taxis at the train station that will
take you to The Championship Club at Wimbledon Lakeside
Cricket Club.
Bus
The 156 & 93 run frequently along the Durnsford Road
and Wimbledon Parkside respectively.
Taxi
Taxis are available outside the Grounds on the ranks
near Gates 4 & 5 on Church Road and at Gate 13 on
Somerset Road. There is also a taxi rank located outside
Southfields Underground Station. Please note a taxi without
a yellow light on is already occupied.
